Kevin Gilbert: "Thud"
Kevin Gilbert was a member of the duo Toy Matinee, whose song "Last Plane Out" was a hit in the early nineties. Kevin's solo career was cut short tragically by his untimely death just a few short years later, but his last album - simply called "Thud" - is a testament to this incredibly talented lyricist. I dare you to listen to "Goodness Gracious", and not be absolutely hooked. Seriously - I dare you.
